This incredible two day journey departs from your Colombo hotel very early, giving you plenty of time to reach World's End with your driver guide. World's End, found in Horton Plains National Park in Nuwari Eliya, is one of the most famous sites in the district. Your hike to World's End begins in the park, and as you hike on through the National Park, you'll be able to appreciate the gorgeous natural beauty of Sri Lanka all around you. The World's End itself is a cliffside which opens up to a breathtaking panorama of a heavily wooded valley, which is the line between Central and Sabaragamuwa Provinces. After your return back to Nuwara Eliya, you'll be able to take lunch at a local restaurant and then opt to check in at a hotel (at your own expense) before leaving for a tour that takes you around the city. You'll be able to tour Gregory Lake, Seetha Aman, and Hakgala before heading to the local market for some local color and culture. At the end of the day, you return to the hotel you checked into. The next day will have you leaving for the tea factory in Nuwara Eliya, where you'll get to see the Sri Lankan way of processing tea. Given the abundant natural resources in the Nuwara Eliya area, it's not a surprise that their tea is excellent.
